Why we can't eat so called bad foods sometimes like that dessert you love everyday? But it loves us back with fat or sickness over time? Always watching our weight or diabetes or something…..
Can we just eat what we want instead of whats good for us? Isnt that what we have been doing all our lives? There comes a time when you learn to make priorities and plans with self maintenance program, your lifestyle change to do the right thing for your agenda. Ok now that i am older i decided i want to enjoy life but not make it punishment to eat right, live right and do the right thing. Ok look at how you feel when you consume a food. Is it a good feeling? Or is it a bad feeling after eating certain foods? I know I wont feel guilty by eating food that is good for me including portion size. If I eat late. Eat too much. Too fast ….
I know I will feel the difference one way or another and suffer the consequences. Gotta eat!

Being sustainable seemed like an unrealistic goal to me because I live in a small space.
I am overriding that thought and replacing it with growing my own vegetables, in my small studio cottage instead.
I was inspired by my friend's website "weagree.life", about human consensus for living peacefully. I chose to act on the principles # 13 "to implement solutions that maintain harmony with nature while providing dignify of life" and # 16, the conversation of sustainability he mentions on his website.
My objective is to share my efforts of increasing my sustainability practices and continue to contribute to revitalizing our beautiful planet. Also to inspire others in the process.
Certainly growing vegetables in my window sill, will eliminate quite a bit of my non-compostable waste, as well as provide delicious plants and fungi to eat. YUM!
I love to cook and I plan to feature the vegetables I grow in a recipe and share "small spaces to table" ideas.
